GEMS

The GEMS program has been sunsetted.

Over the past few years, GEMS has been a place for those passionate about mathematics and science, providing a platform for students to get to know each other and their resources. We've had some remarkable experiences, from engaging discussions to exciting events and projects.

After careful consideration, the GEMS program will end in May 2024. This decision wasn't made lightly, but given the circumstances, we believe it's the most responsible course of action.

While GEMS may be coming to an end, I encourage you to carry forward the spirit of curiosity, exploration, and excellence that defines our campus. Whether it's through your academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or personal interests, continue to seek out opportunities to engage with math and science and to inspire others to do the same. A list of full student organizations can be found here, and a list of STEM-related orgs includes:

  1. Active Minds
  2. Association for Women in Mathematics
  3. People for Pollinators
  4. Pre-Health Society
  5. Pre-Veterinary and Animal Services Society
  6. Psychology and Neuroscience Club
  7. Scot-Techs
  8. Strategies for Ecology, Education, Diversity and Sustainability (SEEDS)

Our team is grateful for the community involvement in GEMS!
